The home is under the care of Catholic sisters who are looking after the mother, who is suffering from kidney disease. The father passed away, leaving six children in the care of their mother. Both Ellen and Julia live in this home together. The Catholic sisters provide much-needed support and care, but the family still faces significant challenges due to the mother's illness and the loss of their father.
 
Ellen is now on a scholarship program through YES Uganda, which provides her with opportunities for education and support. This program has been crucial in helping Ellen and her family navigate their difficult circumstances. Julia, Ellen's sister, is also part of the YES Uganda scholarship program, ensuring both sisters have access to the resources they need to thrive.
